This page explains the general policies of BIRYANI-TOUR. Your trip is confirmed only after our team confirms availability, the final itinerary, total price and payment terms in writing. Package-specific terms supplied with your quotation or confirmation should also be reviewed before payment.
1. Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to enquiries and travel services arranged by BIRYANI-TOUR (“we”, “us” or “our”). By requesting or confirming a trip, the customer (“you”) agrees to these terms and to any written, trip-specific quotation or itinerary supplied by us.
- Package descriptions, photographs and itineraries are illustrative. Actual hotels, transport, activities and sightseeing order may vary with availability and operating conditions.
- Prices displayed on the website are indicative and may be subject to availability, seasonality, taxes, permit fees or changes in supplier rates. The final inclusions, exclusions, taxes and total price will be stated in the written confirmation.
- Each traveller is responsible for providing accurate names, contact details, age information and any documents required for travel.
- Do not treat a website enquiry or WhatsApp message as a confirmed reservation. Wait for written confirmation from our team.
2. Bookings & Payment
- To request a booking, contact us with your selected package, travel dates, number of travellers and any special requirements.
- We will confirm availability, the final itinerary, total price, payment schedule and applicable cancellation terms before asking you to proceed.
- A booking is confirmed only after our team sends written confirmation and any required advance payment has been received and acknowledged.
- Use only payment instructions confirmed through our official contact channels. Never share an OTP, card PIN, password or full payment credentials with anyone claiming to represent us.
- Any additional services, personal expenses, optional activities or itinerary changes not expressly included in the written quotation may cost extra.
3. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refunds
Cancellation charges and refund eligibility can depend on how close the cancellation is to departure and on the refund rules of hotels, transport providers, activity operators and other suppliers. The exact cancellation schedule for your trip must be shared with you before payment and should form part of your written booking confirmation.
- Submit cancellation or rescheduling requests in writing through the contact details below and ask for acknowledgement.
- Before you pay, request the specific cancellation schedule for your chosen package. The written package confirmation should state any advance that is non-refundable, cancellation deadlines, supplier deductions and expected refund process.
- Where a refund is approved, it will be calculated according to the written booking terms and any applicable supplier charges. Processing time may depend on banks and payment providers.
- Changes to names, dates, hotels, transport or itinerary are subject to availability and may incur extra charges.
Important: This website does not set a universal refund percentage or guarantee a full refund. The specific policy confirmed for your booking applies, subject to applicable law.
4. Itinerary Changes & Unforeseen Events
Mountain travel can be affected by weather, road closures, landslides, strikes, government restrictions, permit decisions, transport disruptions, health and safety concerns or other events outside reasonable control. We may need to adjust routes, timings, accommodation or activities for safety or operational reasons.
If a significant change is required, we will communicate the available alternatives as soon as reasonably possible. Any price adjustment, credit, rescheduling or refund will be handled under the written booking terms and applicable law. We cannot guarantee that every attraction or activity will operate on a particular date.
5. Traveller Responsibilities & Destination Conditions
- Carry valid identification and any permits or documents required for your route. Some areas of Sikkim and other border or high-altitude regions may require permits, which are subject to government rules and approval.
- Follow instructions from guides, drivers, accommodation providers and local authorities. Do not enter restricted areas or undertake activities that have been closed for safety reasons.
- Tell us in advance about mobility needs, dietary requirements or other arrangements you want us to consider. We will confirm what can be accommodated.
- Travellers should assess their own fitness and consider appropriate travel insurance, including cover for medical expenses, trip interruption and evacuation where relevant.
- Respect local communities, cultural and religious sites, wildlife and the natural environment.
6. Privacy Policy
We may collect information you provide when contacting us or requesting a trip, such as your name, phone number, email address, travel dates, number of travellers, preferences and booking details. We use this information to respond to enquiries, prepare itineraries, coordinate reservations, provide customer support, process payments through the relevant provider and meet legal obligations.
We may share only the information needed with service providers involved in your trip, such as hotels, transport operators, guides, payment processors or authorities where required. Their own privacy practices may also apply. We do not promise that information is never shared; it is used for the purposes described here and as permitted or required by law.
Contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your information, subject to records we must retain for legal, accounting, security or booking purposes. Please avoid sending sensitive identity or payment information over ordinary chat unless it is genuinely required and a secure method is provided.
8. Website Information & Liability
We aim to keep information accurate, but availability, prices, supplier services, opening times, weather and travel conditions can change. Website content is not a guarantee that a specific service will be available. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
Where a service is supplied by an independent third-party provider, its operating conditions may apply. We will explain the role of relevant providers in your booking confirmation.
9. Policy Updates
We may update these website policies as our services or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page. Any trip-specific terms already agreed in writing will be handled according to that confirmation and applicable law.
